Salvation

As a Christian, I feel it’s an enormous privilege and honor to have the opportunity to reach so many people for Christ. I am so blessed to have this website and to be able to communicate the love of God to His children. It’s an incredible responsibility that I do not take lightly. Therefore, whatever I say, I want to make sure I’m portraying His heart clearly. My goal is to not tell you my opinion or my thoughts, but to simply be a voice that declares to you what is written in the Bible, so you can decide for yourselves. My prayer is that as you hear the GOOD NEWS a flame will ignite in your heart and you will ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

So, what do you need to know about salvation?

1st) 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

2nd) 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)

3rd) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:2)

Simply put, God loved you and I so much that He sacrificed His only Son so that we could be reconciled to Him and live an abundant life. Jesus is the only one who has ever lived a sinless life, therefore He was the perfect ransom for our sins. Because He was blameless, He is the only one we can call upon to receive salvation for our sins. We are immeasurably blessed because God is ready and waiting for us to realize that we can’t do this thing called life alone, and that we do need Him. He is available even in this moment if you realize you want to take the step to welcome Him to become the Lord of your life.

If your heart is saying yes (and you’ll know if it is), then I believe you may be ready to pray this prayer:

Dear Jesus,
I need you in my life. I acknowledge that I have sinned and I confess that to you right now and ask for Your forgiveness. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I believe You are the son of God and that you rose from the dead and are alive today. Come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me! Thank you that now I am Yours completely and my life belongs to You. I give you permission to lead me and guide me and help me, through reading Your Word and spending time with you in prayer and worship, to get to know Your character and nature and to become more like You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Congratulations!  Welcome to the family!
